In many professions manipulating PDF documents is a constant feature. This format present the advantage of being a lot lighter than a text document but at the same time a lot more difficult to manipulate, that can be rather awkward in many circumstances.

  ABBYY PDF Transformer is a tool pack designed to manipulate, create and convert all types of PDF files. This doesn't only include the classic PDF formed by text or images, but also to those that contain scanned text (and due to this are formed by images), those that are protected with passwords and those that come with codified text.

  It has a utility to create PDF files from any type of documents, even though the really interesting tool is the one that does the opposite task: create documents from a PDF. These can have the same layout as the original document, or we can simply save all the text and images.

  When we try to copy text in columns from a PDF, we get a text full of paragraph jumps and the order does correspond to the orginal. With ABBYY PDF Transformer we can transform them into normal linear text obeying the original text distribution.

  What's more, thanks to its internal ORC, it can recognize texts in 185 languages from any scanned PDF, so that we can recover it to use it in another document.
